Part Time transcriptionist (anywhere)

Need experienced medical transcriptionist for subcontractor position on Thursdays and Fridays (possibly Tuesdays). Must be RELIABLE, ACCURATE and able to provide quick turnaround time. Must be familiar with orthopedic and podiatry terminology. Must be able to play DSS and DS2 digital files received over the internet through Express Scribe PRO VERSION and have a foot pedal. This is NOT a high paying position - Pay is $2 per page or $25 per audio hour depending on job (will go higher for reliable/accurate individual). Average audio file is apx 30 minutes. Medical Transcription

We are looking for quality Medical Transcription freelancers. We require 99%+ accuracy with attention to the Turn-Around-Time.

Medical transcription position - Fulltime (Telecommute)


-3 years CURRENT medical transcription experience as an independent contractor working from home preferably in oncology/hematology.

-High-speed internet, Windows XP or newer, MS Word, MS Outlook 2007, and spreadsheet software.

-Medical spellchecker (Stedman's highly preferred).

-Transcription software and equipment (Olympus highly preferred).

-Able to type 8 MB/35 files per day.

-Experience with electronic medical records.

-Line counting software advisable (Practicount & Invoice preferred).

-Moderate computer knowledge and EXTENSIVE MS Word knowledge.

Medical Transcriptionist- Cardiology Associates, LLC Job - Washington DC

Cardiology Associates, LLC seeks a Medical Transcriptionist to join our team at our office on K Street in Washington DC.

Primary responsibilities include:

- Editing all dictated letters, reports, and other documents received from the physicians, nurses, and Office Manager in a timely manner by listening to dictated tapes and typing the documents in a Windows based, Word program to ensure proper transcription of dictation.

- Downloading and uploading daily transcription from CBay Report Pro

- Completing testing reports using FileMaker Pro database software and/or Microsoft Word

- Establishing and maintaining an efficient file management process for document retrieval through organized computer data files to ensure efficient and complete chart processing and a timely and inclusive response to requests for information



Able to properly transcribe, print, route and file pathology and cytology reports. Perform miscellaneous secretarial duties and typing. Set work priorities. Answer the telephone. Fax or send reports. Maintain logs for referred specimens or procedures. Maintain documentation for departmental consultations.
Performs duties and conducts interpersonal relationships in a professional manner in order to project a positive image of the laboratory and the hospital. Works with the laboratory staff, nursing staff, medical staff, visitors and patients in a professional manner. Works with manufacturer and sales representatives in a professional manner. Conducts all contacts in a friendly, courteous, helpful and considerate manner designed to provide good customer service. Answers the telephone in a prompt and courteous manner. Displays concern and provides assistance as appropriate to callers or in face to face situations. Dedicated to meeting the expectations of the internal and external customers. Works with customers to identify areas of concern and to recommend appropriate solutions.


Medical Transcriptionist/Report Coordinator (Encino, CA)

Medical Report Writer/Report Coordinator needed for busy Pain Management Practice. You must have 4+ years of experience with writing reports for Workers Comp Pain Management. We are a busy pain management practice in Encino , California.

We are looking for someone who has experience working in a practice that handles a high volume of Workers Comp patients. You must be very detail oriented, have the ability to take direction well and follow through with assigned tasks. This position requires someone that is able to multi-task, remain focused during interruptions and is able to work well under pressure. We are looking for a friendly team player that takes pride in his/her work. You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Familiar with current ODG and ACOEM guidelines as well as impairment ratings is a plus. You will be responsible to coordinate work between our main office and an outside transcriptionist. You must be EXCEL literate.
