Metropolitan Heart and Vascular Institute is a strong team of Cardiologists and support staff that give cardiac services at Mercy, Buffalo Hospitals and Unity in addition to outreach clinics and our own clinics located in Unity and Mercy hospitals. WE are now looking for a homebased medical transcriptionist who will be responsible to provide transcription of patient medical information and otehr assigned typing duties with the use of word processing or transcribing equipment. The work will be Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm or 9am to 5:30pm. You must be available to work on these hours for the schedule is not negotiable. Scope of Responsibilities: 1) To transcribe dictation of records and letter and other materials for Physicians,practitioners,nurse in a timely manner with a high level of accuracy with the use of dictation equipment 2) To check documents for errors including dates, format, etc.3)You can make corrections if required 4) Maintain a consistent line count 5) To rfeport computer issues immediately to Lead 6) To maintain safe and clean work environment and other duties assigned. This is a medical transcription job to provide record of patient care by transcribing and interpreting radiologists' dictation into medical-legal documents. Your resume must indicate all relevant licenses, certifications, education and experience related to the requirements and qualifications for this job. You must provide these in order to be considered. The transcription is about radiology. Must be able to work 40 hours per week from Monday thru Friday. There will be some occasional overtime and Saturdays depending on the departmental needs.
