Healthcare transcription (Telecommute)


Recommendations:

-3 years CURRENT medical transcription experience as an independent contractor working from home preferably in oncology/hematology.

-High-speed internet, Windows XP or newer, MS Word. MS Outlook 2007 or Windows mail. Spreadsheet software.

-Medical spellchecker (Stedman's highly preferred).

-Transcription software and equipment.

-Able to type 8 MB/35 files per day.

-Experience with electronic medical records.

-Line counting software advisable (Practicount & Invoice preferred).

-Moderate computer knowledge and EXTENSIVE MS Word knowledge.



***** This is a telecommute (work-at-home) position for an INDEPENDENT contractor (NOT AN EMPLOYEE), which means you will need to be able to produce accurate/professional looking documents with little to NO supervision by following instructions given and be able to make your documents look exactly like samples provided. *****



Files are available Monday-Friday and that sometimes includes STAT files. No weekend work required, but sometimes is requested.
