We are seeking to hire experienced legal transcriptionists in Maine. Will be working part time from their home with the use of a Sony tape transcriber- audio cassettes, 2 track and 4 track tapes. Applicants must have legal experience of 5 years doing transcription, working with courts, attorneys and judges. Ideal applicants must be capable of transcribe hearings, motions, trials and other legal matters using the State of Maine Transcript format officially documented. Looking for individuals with high accuracy rate and 3 references. Should also have proper software to transcribe JAVS. Some postage payment is necessary as transcripts are shipped to a different location. Good job, pays out at varying per page rates unless otherwise stated. Applicants must be able to meet rush and regular deadline. Must be able to have an interview and sign a non disclosure agreement. Must supply own paper and ink and if necessary, copies of projects on CDs with special label. CORI check and other agreements may be necessary.
