Hello fellow transcribers, I am going to address some frequent questions that I get asked:

I want to become a Medical Transcriptionist, but am unsure which school to enroll in. Can you please email me your recommendations? – Mary

Hi Catherine, I am somewhat new to this field and don’t have much experience, where can I get the experience to help me get to the next step in my career? – Sally

How do I start this, I have been procrastinating on become a medical transcriptionist? – Jen S.

If you have been asking these question to me or asking them to yourself, do not feel like you are the only one. All of us have asked these similar questions when we started out and lacked any kind of experience to take our career path on to the next level. I suggest, if you only do one thing today to jump start your career, stop procrastinating and act on the steps below. This will help you achieve your goal in becoming a successful transcriptionist.

1. Click on this link
Earn a career diploma as a Medical Transcriptionist through Penn Foster Career School

2. Click on the red “Request Information” button on the left side column

3. Fill out the form and hit the submit button

4. Congratulations, you now have moved a step closer to achieving your goal and dreams :)

We all started in a similar place that you are in, don’t feel alone. I was asking the same questions myself when I started. I began with little to no experience and struggled the first couple of years. I didn’t have the know how or opportunity that you all have now. Take control and jump start your career in the transcription field.

Thanks and God Bless You,
Catherine
