Transcriptionists deal with confidential information and it is very unprofessional to share the funny stuff that inevitably shows up in the audio files that we transcribe. I used to thank my lucky stars when I had some latitude to leave passages of entirely off topic talk out of the document that I was typing. There was once a few minutes of audio that involved a lawyer coaching a witness on how to operate the toilet in the adjacent washroom. I recently stumbled upon a page that contains some funny excerpts of verbatim court records. Some of them are pretty funny.
