I think I have mentioned the precautions necessary when using Craigslist. They are right there on every ad on the site. People get so used to them that they stop thinking about what they actually saying. I suggest you give them a review whenever you are on the site.
You can do a little homework whenever you see a company name on a job listing. Googling company names can be quite revealing. Even if you come up with nothing, that still tells you something.
The employer below has a dot com site. Like many transcription providers, the site design is geared towards selling transcription services to clients. Job seekers need to look at the footer links to find career information and contact information.

Since multi-speaker medical content can be difficult and keynote speakers are usually from all over the world, ANP seeks talented transcribers who have dealt with this type of material before. The bulk of our work has a 24-48 hour turnaround. The ideal transcriber can type an average of 2 recorded audio hours per day, and is available 4-5 days during the week.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience with medical transcription

• High-speed internet connection
