Here is a work from home opportunity for a Nebraska based medical transcription service that has served the needs of hospitals, clinics, out-patient departments and physicians for over twenty years.

For the first 45 days the successful applicants will get a guaranteed fixed amount each two week pay period. Subsequently,  they will be paid on a per line basis up to 7.5 cents per line, based on a 65 character line count,  including spaces.

Those exceeding production goals are eligable for bonuses after one year of employment. Medical Transcriptionists are considered Independent Contractors with the company paying FICA and Medicare tax.  Hours are flexible, but you are expected to maintain a 24 hour turn around time.

This is a full time position, you must be able to transcribe 1200 lines a day, Mon-Fri. Required skills/knowledge include: Ability to understand & spell, medical & pharmaceutical terminology therefore, experience is necessary as a medical Transcriptionist or post high school training is required. Exceptional keyboarding skills (must be able to type 1200 lines a day after a 4 week trial period with accuracy of 98% from day one), must have exceptional listening skills & ability to type word for word exactly what you hear, must have experience navigating the internet, using email & MS Word is required, must be dependable, have good time management skills & ability to run a home based business.
